Benefit Concert
The benefit concert held on January 29, 2011, was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thanks to everyone who helped put it on and to everyone else who came out for a great, fun night for Project 16:49. We truly appreciate it!

Project 16:49, along with event coordinator Linn Krafjack and other volunteers, are hosting a benefit concert to raise dollars to establish a transitional living program for homeless teens in Rock County. Five bands, playing rock, country, blues and more, will be volunteering their time and considerable talents. The event is appropriate for adults only as alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. A dinner plate will also be available for purchase. Several local business are sponoring the event and have donated items for our raffle. The 16:49 It’s Not Fine… Benefit Concert will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Marine Corps League, located at 3807 S. Riverside Drive in Beloit. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door.
This event is being organized by Beloit residents Bob Parker and Jim and Linn Krafjack. The 16:49 It’s Not Fine… Benefit Concert will take place from 4:00 PM – Midnight and will feature several outstanding local bands who are donating their time and their talents. Scheduled to play for the benefit are Dynamite Society with Zach Johns, Lex & CO., the Jamie Campbell Band, DEA with Renee Wood, and Kind Of A Big Deal.
Project 16:49 is a subcommittee of the Rock County Homeless Intervention Task Force, a group of service providers and concerned citizens who have been planning to provide a safe and stable place for homeless Rock County teens over the past two years. Ann Forbeck (Homeless Liaison for the School District of Janesville), and Robin Stuht (Homeless Coordinator for the School District of Beloit), serve as co-chairs of Project 16:49.
